Meet the Members of the Consortium

DAVID G. BROWN, UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA MEDICAL CENTER

  David Brown is a member of the College of Dentistry administration responsible for academic affairs.  One of David's duties is to facilitate the service-learning programs in the College. Most of these programs involve developing opportunities for students to work in rural or underserved urban areas providing dental services to populations across Nebraska.
  One of David's major projects at this time is the development of clinics in Gering and Columbus. These clinics will be housed in community health centers with COD faculty and staff. Their primary purposes will be to work with the communities, serving their local needs while providing opportunities for students to take rotations withing the communities to increase their knowledge and appreciation for rural practice.
