Consortium Member Biography

DEENA KENNEL, CHADRON STATE COLLEGE

  Deena Kennel is the Director of Internship & Career Services at Chadron State College. Her primary role is to assist students in securing internship sites and to monitor their experiences. In addition, her office provides career services to students and alumni. Deena became involved with the Consortium in the Fall of 2003 and has participated in Consortium activities with the Dean of Students from Chadron State College. Deena's role in service learning on the Chadron State campus will be to assist in coordinating communication between faculty and local agencies to establish service learning relationships.
  Deena graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and the Family in 1990 and has lived in Chadron since 1994 with her husband and two children, Harlie and Hannah.
